The working principle of a heat pump is to slowly heat and then maintain a constant temperature. It is very energy-saving, but cannot heat quickly.So the ECOPOOLTECH heat pumps usually heats the pool up during the first 2 or 3 days to your set temperature (it could be longer, depending on the size of your pool, as well as the ambient temperature). Then it will automatically stop or start according to temperature fluctuations to keep your pool warm and comfortable.<\/span><\/p>

Since the temperature difference between the water inlet and outlet is only around 1F or less<\/span>(depends on the volume of water flow), it is difficult to feel it by hand. If a pool doesn’t have a cover, there will be significant heat loss, especially in winter time when\u00a0the ambient temperature is low. The temperature difference between the air and the water becomes so great that heat loss may occur rapidly. So much heat can be lost that your heater will have difficulty catching up to the amount dissipated into the air.<\/span><\/p>

As a result, your pool may never get warmed to the right temperature. A solar cover is helpful to prevent heat loss. We suggest that you cover the pool with a solar cover as much as possible when the pool is not in use. <\/span><\/p>
